Simple Tips to prevent gum disease

  • Floss once a day.
  • Brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste.
  • Eat a well-balanced diet.
  • Visit your dentist regularly for a checkup and cleaning.
  • Quit smoking. Smoking increases your risk for gum disease.

Gum diseases need to be treated by a dentist. If not treated, these infections can ruin the bones, gums, and other tissues that support your teeth.

Why is online important?

I don't believe this is a question that will require us to spend a much time debating. It has been proven that the right internet tools can drastically change your practice. The most basic use of the internet has been in the area of marketing and promotion. The second and most relevant when it comes to your practice is information gathering. The more relevant information regarding care and preventative measures you are able to post for your patients will keep them happy and well informed. This my friend is key, because a happy and well informed patient will gladly refer others.

Dentist Tip of the Week

Wrinkles and grey hairs are not the only tell tale signs of aging. As we age our teeth tend to get yellowish. Yellowed teeth can make a person look prematurely older. Teeth Whitening can make some one look years younger.

Also when someone smiles what is noticed is their smile.. Whitened teeth are the brightest thing in the visual field and tend to be the feature noticed first. Conversely, smiling faces are animated and energized and the visual effect of wrinkles is minimized. Smiling can make a person appear years younger!
